Towards the end of 1996,it was felt that despite all efforts on the part of Government, Autonomous bodies and Multi-national organizations in the private sector for providing medical facilities to their employees / public, need for managed and well tailored health care program was still there. As an attempt to cater for this need of the society,Help Line Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd was established in the private sector with the objective of looking after the immediate needs of people.
In these days of rising cost of living and highly busy schedule of daily engagements, people find it very difficult to avail quality medical facilities and / or attend to the medical needs of the family. People belonging to the middle class of income and below, some are times forced by the circumstances to ignore quality and prefer to compromise with economy. On the other hand, those belonging to the blessed group with no financial restraints, have no time to attend to the medical needs of the family due to their being very busy in business or profession. MEDICARD recognizes these needs and has accepted the responsibility of taking care of its Members and their dependents by relieving them of their worries relating to medical problems by-
- Eliminating self prescribed medication through making medical advice / guidance available on telephone.
- Reducing their budget on medical treatment by making quality services / facilities available to them free of charges and on very economical / discounted rates.
- Looking after their medical needs by providing all medical facilities under one roof at MEDI CLINIC,Gulshan-e-iqbal, Karachi and through various outlets in different parts of Karachi and Lahore.
- Providing medical services, equipment and medical staff on their door step and that too on discounted rates.
In order to refresh and remind our Members about their medical needs and changes in our vendor net work, we maintain customer relations them through SMS campaign,
Telephonic advisory service, Customer Relation Officer and OPD net work. Whenever our clients feel any problems they contact and consult our doctors on duty with regard to solution of their medical needs / problems. It is one of basic responsibility of our doctors to provide guidance to theMEDICARD members regarding any problem relating to medical field.
With this end in view, we have introduced a unique idea of managed family health care. MEDICARD is a “tailored made” product designed to address the needs of our Members. In addition to our normal package of services, we can offer and provide different sets of services / facilities as per the requirement of the Members, on discounted charges.
We enroll people as Members and issue them MEDICARDwho are commonly known as MEDICARD members. We provide them and their dependants different free and discounted medical services / facilities ourselves as well as through various Hospitals, Pathological Labs, Consultants etc. We are serving our Members for the last over 10 years.
We have thousands of members in Karachi, and Lahore who are being nursed under our managed family health care program, through a well tailored product MEDICARD.
